About The Great Trail:
The Great Trail is the world’s longest multi-use trail that connects over 1000 communities from British Columbia to Newfoundland. The trail extends over 24,000 km. The beautiful, well maintained trails, at any given time are busy with hikers, cyclists, dog walkers, joggers and runners and as 26% of the trail is on water it is also used for paddling. In different communities the trail features a number of side trails leading to beautiful forested areas with creeks and waterways running along side of it. It also runs through wetlands and protected areas with beautiful bridged walkways. The Great Trail connects all of us so be sure to “Take a Hike!” For a map of the trail in your area click HERE.
