Things to do and see in Caledon East

Located in the middle of the Town of Caledon, the quaint village of Caledon East, is always worth a visit. From yummy restaurants, including Airport PizzaGabe’s BakeryGourmandissimo, Four Corners Bakery, The Consulate and just to the north of it the beautiful Villa Caledon Inn, to shops, family owned farmers markets, the Main Street Ice Cream Shop and the popular Davis Family Farm which has the best sunflower fields from the end of July to the first week of August.

Caledon East is also the home of the first ever Trans Canada Trail “The Great Trail” Pavilion. The Caledon Trailway, part of The Great Trail, runs through the village connecting Caledon communities and all of Canada. The well maintained trail can be used by hikers, cyclists and horseback riders.

The Caledon Walk of Fame is also located in Caledon East honouring Caledon residents that have made significant contribution to the community. It is located in the Trans Canada Trail Pavilion Park on the west side of Airport Road.

In 2017 the Town of Caledon has been added to the Trans Canada Trail Champions and is the first Community to receive this honour.
