Fundraiser Hike With Bob Barnett Executive Director – Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy

Organized by the Take a HIKE Caledon Ladies Hiking Group and Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy Executive Director Bob Barnett today we hiked the Simmons Nature Reserve Located in Caledon East Ontario. Bob also gave a talk on nature reserves and the importance of preserving our green space. We raised $270 which will go directly to the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy.

Thanks to everyone who came out and donated. When trying to preserve green space and nature reserves every cent makes a difference.

A special thanks goes out to Mr. Ivor Simmons who donated the funds to the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy to purchase this land and Susan Walmer Executive Director from the Oak Ridges Moraine Land Trust who also joined us today.
