This Summer Caledon East’s Wetlands Bridge will be Wheelchair and Stroller Accessible

For as long as I can remember the step to access the Caledon East Wetlands Bridge along The Great Trail has always been a little lopsided and high making it hard for everyone to access, including wheelchairs and strollers.

In the past year and a half I have requested a few times to get it fixed so that everyone can enjoy it and I am happy to report that Town of Caledon Parks staff has put money aside to repair it and make it Wheelchair and Stroller accessible at the end of May.

Thanks to Service Caledon for initiating my request and thanks to Town of Caledon Parks staff for getting it done!!!
