Snowshoeing on the Bruce Trail north of Side Road 5
Today we tried something different. We parked in the designated Bruce Trail parking lot on Side Road 5 and hit the trails. What an awesome experience snowshoeing on the freshly fallen snow and the untouched trails. If you are looking for something to do in winter this is definitely a fun experience with family or friends. It’s a great way to experience the outdoors while getting some exercise in the process 🙂
The Bruce Trail in this area runs through private property and is also used for cross country skiing. The owner of this Hockleycrest property regularly grooms the ski trails for everyone to enjoy. He has also created walking/snowshoeing side trails and at parts where trails are shared it is for important for snowshoers to stay on the edge of the trail.
