The “Take a HIKE” Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group was ready for snowshoeing, but the lack of snow made it a little difficult so we hiked instead. Located within the Humber River Watershed, Cold Creek Conservation Area consists of 470 acres and is part of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. From the beautiful forested areas, valleys, swamps and bog trail bridge to the well maintained trails, Cold Creek is a must for hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders. Check out the photos below. When hiking in winter be sure to have some sort of ice traction attachments to your shoes as it can get a little slippery.
