CLHMG Trans Canada Trail and Terry Fox Fundraiser Hike

Today the Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group completed a 22km fundraiser hike on the Trans Canada Trail “The Great Trail” from Inglewood to Palgrave, raising $1700.00 to place a stone bench on the TCT for everyone to enjoy and $177.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation. It was great spending time with our special guests Valerie Pringle, past host of CTV’s Canada AM, journalist and now the Director of the Ontario part of the Trans Canada Trail and Jessica Mega the Director of External Relations, who joined us for the hike. Everyone did awesome job and this event wouldn’t have been possible without the help of some amazing people and businesses. Thanks to Inglewood General Store, Airport Pizza, The Church Pub, Gabes Country Bake Shoppe, Dr. Elizabeth Dimovski Dental Office, Smile Solutions, The Art Of and the three husbands that arranged our lunch set up.
