Glen Haffy Conservation Area Hike with The Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group
As our Caledon Ladies Hiking and Meet Up Group hikes are during the week our hike of Glen Haffy Conservation Area yesterday was in celebration of International Trails Day which is Saturday June 4th. Glen Haffy Conservation Area, part of TRCA (Toronto and Region Conservation Areas), is located just north of Caledon East. This is another conservation area that the Bruce Trail runs through. It has beautiful forested trails ranging from 0.85 km to 2.7 km. (Green Trail – 0.85 km, Red Trail – 2.7 km, and the Blue Trail – 2.5 km) Be prepared for some hilly trails and a great workout. The blue trail leads you to a beautiful pond, stocked with rainbow trout, where on any given time you can find people fishing.
