Go-Ahead Has Been Given for the Installation of the Caledon East Park Splash Pad
According to Laura Johnston, Director of Parks and Recreation for the Town of Caledon, a go-ahead has been given for the installation of the Caledon East Park Splash Pad. Part of the service level of a splash pad is open public washrooms. This means that while the splash pad is open so will the washrooms, from about the long weekend in May until the end of September, 10am to 9pm. However the splash pad will not be ready until the fall of 2016 which means the washrooms at the park may not be opened for public use until then. Parks and Recreation is currently looking into what can be done to get the washrooms opened for the summer.
I will have more information by Monday on the decision, to open the washrooms for the 2016 summer, until the splash pad is opened.
Just wondering what the status is on the splash pad…is it still scheduled for fall of 2016…and exactly where will it be located?
Yes, the splash pad is scheduled to be finished in September 2016 at the Caledon East Park.
