Hilton Falls Conservation Area Hiking and Mountain Biking

Today, instead of hiking, we decided to take our bikes on the trails at Hilton Falls Conservation Area near Milton, Ontario. This is another area where The Bruce Trails runs through. The Conservation Area has a total of 6 trails, ranging from 3 to 9.5 km, three of which are biking trails only. Almost all the trails are connected and lead to the centre where the beautiful Hilton Falls are located. It is a great place for photographers with the 19th century old stone saw mill ruins just beside the falls. These are the closest waterfalls to Toronto and surrounding areas, so if you are looking for beautiful hike or bike trails Hilton Falls Conservation Area is a must. The trails are beautiful, well groomed and range from easy to advanced. This is a beautiful location for a family picnic while enjoying the beautiful scenery. I have to say I love hiking, but the bikes helped get us to our destination a little faster. The problem with biking instead of hiking ….. hardly any stops to take photos along the way 🙂
