Midland Ontario Day Trip – Balm Beach, Wye Marsh and Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons
An hour and forty five minutes north of Caledon, Midland Ontario is found on the south end of Georgian Bay. With a population of 17,000 which grows to 100,000 during the summer months. A beautiful mural, on the old flour mill, of the history of Sainte-Marie among the Hurons can be seen from all areas of the harbour. There are a number of tourists attractions, including the Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons and the Wye Marsh with beautiful hiking trails leading to the marsh.
